Newly admitted student veterans should attend one of these sessions to discuss next steps in enrollment and learn how to activate (certify) your enrollment for benefits. To sign up, call CEVSS 972.860.7340.
Submit transcripts from high school, previous schools, and Military Joint Services Transcripts to Admissions. Note: transcripts will not be evaluated until student is enrolled and has attended classes past the census date (12th class day).
Veteran: The Texas State legislatures allows veterans to have a waiver from taking the TSI (placement) tests. TSI scores will be required for any math, reading or writing developmental courses (DMAT, DIRW). Dependent: Please pick up a test referral form from CEVSS.

If your Program of Study is offered in the Career Technology (CT) or Education fields, you will be advised in that department.
Course Schedule Class information is available via the school’s website (http://www.eastfieldcollege.edu/cdi/) and your eConnect account.
If you are unable to register yourself via eConnect, please build your class schedule in eConnect, print it, and bring it to an advisor in CEVSS who will register you for classes.
Be sure to determine if EFC requires payment for the classes at the time of registration.
Submit your signed EFC Certification request form to CEVSS as soon as you register for courses. email@example.com or fax to 972.860.8340. This is required in order to activate educational benefit funds.
Be prepared to purchase books and supplies. Know your benefit type since not all receive supplies from the VA.
Your schedule can be found in your eConnect account. It provides the location, meeting dates and times of your classes along with the refund and withdrawal deadlines.
