Degrees/Certifications: I am a Certified Public Accountant with a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University – Commerce and a Master of Science in Finance from New England College of Business and Finance
Professional Achievements/Experience: I have over 16 years of experience in corporate accounting and auditing with PricewaterhouseCoopers, CVS/Caremark, Hudson Advisors, and Academic Partnerships. I have amassed a variety of teachable skills such as preparing and reviewing detailed financial statements and analytics; reconciling monthly balance sheet accounts for both domestic and international companies; and communicating effectively with internal and external customers throughout my career.

What can I offer students? I can provide such opportunities learn and master accounting concepts by using innovative and inspiring approaches to learning. In addition to textbook learning, I would also offer students real world illustrations that will help them develop professional skills that can be applied immediately outside of the classroom.
What do I expect from students? I expect students to do their best and challenge me to challenge them to strive for excellence.
What advice can I share with students from my experience? Take ownership of your career/future now! Set goals for yourself and research the necessary steps to reach those goals. Get outside of the classroom and begin networking now. Many of your professors have already met goals similar to yours or they know someone who has. Set to a time to meet with your professors or other professionals to establish mentoring relationships that will smooth out your journey to your goals.
