Gallery 219 presents Eastfield SoFresh: Works by Fall 2006 Sophomore/Freshmen Art Students, November 27 - December 8. The reception for the student show is November 29 from 5 - 7 p.m. This reception will coincide with the opening reception of the semi annual Clay Sale, hosted by the Eastfield College Clay Guild, thus making this a much larger, much more exciting visual art event. Visitors will enjoy an evening full of food, music and, of course, brilliant art.
The student exhibition gives the Eastfield community an opportunity to see the work of the Fine Art Department's incredibly talented student artists. This show is presented by Gallery 219 each semester and is definitely one of the most exciting--certainly the largest! Works include drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, pottery, jewelry and mixed media.
And, be sure to stop by the Eastfield Clay Guild Holiday Sale for great holiday gifts made by EFC Clay Guild members. The Clay Guild reception will be open an extra hour - 'til 8 p.m. - for your shopping convenience! Attend the reception and participate in a raffle to win a work of art by EFC Ceramic Faculty.
The sale, located in the Eastfield Library, will include cups, mugs, bowls, pitchers, casserole dishes, plates, and sculpture.
