Going to college doesn’t have to be 2-year or a 4-year degree. In today’s world of community college offerings, you can earn a workforce certificate that places you in a high-demand, high-wage career in healthcare, construction, brewing, or the police academy in less than a year! And don’t worry, financial aid is available to individuals based on need and who are pursuing career related courses towards a certificate.
We also cater to the lifelong learner—for the kids, connect them to our Camp Harvey summer sessions that will surely ignite curiosity and learning; for adults, check out our concurrent course listings and community classes to perfect a hobby or stimulate the mind.

Angeles Perez is a first generation college student who dreams one day of becoming a teacher. To jumpstart her future as an educator, Angeles enrolled in the Teacher Assistant program at EFC’s Pleasant Grove campus, earning a certificate through 48 hours of classroom instruction. Today, she is employed as a TA where she connects to her passion on a daily basis. “I am the first in my family to have a job that I love going to every day. Not only have I made my family proud, but I am also proud of myself,” She shares. “Thanks to the certificate I earned while pursuing my bachelor’s degree, I am one step closer to the future I have always dreamed about as a teacher.”
