Requirements for Continuing Full-time Employees:

August 1, 2015 - July 31, 2016 - Revised in December 2015

Full-time employees who were employed prior to August 1, 2015 must earn a minimum of 19 hours of professional development credit during the period starting August 1 and ending July 31. All employees must complete the four credits of Required Safety and Security Courses and at least two credits of Required Eastfield Excellence Courses as part of their 19 hour minimum.

Requirements for New Full-time Employees:

August 1, 2015 – July 31, 2016 - Revised in December 2015

Employees hired after August 1, 2015 are considered new employees for the purposes of the 2015-2016 professional development annual requirements. New full-time employees must complete the five Safety and Security Courses and the two Orientation sessions in the first 30 days of employment. New full-time employees should complete an additional 2 hours of professional development for each month of employment from their date of employment through July 31 as noted in the chart below.
